Written requests in by noon Eastern, Monday to Saturday, are answered before sundown in Orlando

Reading the figures and sending a reservation request in plain words

This page sets out how the numbers, dates and form fields on the site are written, so a screen reader or a quick glance gets the same meaning. If any part still gets in your way, the last section gives the phone number and the email address of the desk in Orlando.

What the river flow numbers stand for

Flow is given in cfs, short for cubic feet per second. Each figure comes from the USGS gauge on the river below the springs, so it describes the flow of the whole run rather than a single vent.

The catalog groups the runs by two or three nights; inside each group, and on the springs page, they follow their median daily flow for water year 2026, which ran from October 2025 to September 2026, with the largest first.

Dollar figures carry their unit in words

A trip figure is written as from a dollar amount per person, never as a bare number. Charges set by others carry their own unit in words too: per boat, per adult, per vehicle, or a room night.

The figure assumes two travelers sharing one room and one car. It is confirmed only in the written quote, once the inn and the outfitter have answered for those exact nights.

Month names, first days and full years

Lists and tables give each departure in full, from the first night to the last morning, with the month, the days and the year. Some sentences on the run pages shorten the month names, such as Dec for December, and give the year once for a group of dates. There are 22 departures in all.

Eight fields, from the departure list to the note

The form opens with a list of the 22 dated departures grouped by run, plus a choice for not decided yet. After that come how you want to be on the water, the number of paddlers from 1 to 6, rooms from 1 to 3, your name, your email, a phone number, which is optional, and a note.

Sending it costs nothing, holds nothing and asks for no payment. The form can be sent at any hour of the day or night.

Getting the same help from a person

If a page gets in your way, call +1 (407) 898-3614 on a weekday during the office's phone hours, or write to springs@foxrivertrail.org and say which page caused the trouble.

A written message is answered on the same timetable as any other request: one that arrives by noon Eastern, Monday to Saturday, gets its first answer before sundown in Orlando that day.
