Your name and dates, read at the Orlando desk before anything is reserved
This page covers the personal details a traveler types into the request form and what happens to them afterward. The business responsible for those details is Fox River Trail LLC, with one desk at 1011 E Colonial Dr, Suite 502, Orlando, Florida 32803.
Departure, party size, rooms, name, email, a note
The form opens with a choice among the 22 dated departures, grouped by run, or the option "not decided yet". Next comes one choice for the whole party on how to be on the water, then how many people are coming (1 to 6), how many rooms are needed (1 to 3), a name, an email address, an optional phone number and a free note.
Those are all the fields. None of them asks for a card number, an account number, a government identifier or a health detail.
Sending the form costs nothing and holds nothing
Sending costs nothing, holds nothing and asks for no payment, so the form never carries money details of any kind. Payment for a trip goes from the traveler straight to the inn, the outfitter and the park, never through this website.
The service that carries each message to the desk
An outside forwarding service routes each form submission into the office's inbox by email, and that service applies its own privacy terms to the message while it is in transit. Nothing else on the site sends what you type anywhere.
First an answer, later a yes in writing
The details are used to answer the person who wrote and, with that person's go-ahead, to ask the inn and the outfitter about the nights in question. The office first asks the inn and the outfitter whether those nights and a place on the water are free. A first written answer reaches you before sundown in Orlando, on the same day when the request came in by noon Eastern, Monday to Saturday; the full written quote naming the inn and the outfitter follows once both have answered.
Nothing is held until you say yes to that quote in writing. Only then does the office ask the inn and the outfitter to hold the nights and the launch for you.
What reaches the inn and the outfitter, and when
Before you say yes to a quote, the inn and the outfitter hear only the dates, the number of paddlers and rooms and how you want to be on the water. Your name, your note and the ages you mention go to them only after you accept the quote in writing, because they need them to hold the room and the launch. The park receives your name when the office makes a day-use reservation for you.
A page visit sets nothing on your device
The site sets no cookies, writes nothing to browser storage and loads no tracking or advertising scripts. The company that hosts the pages may keep ordinary request logs, such as the IP address, the time and the page asked for, to keep the service running; the office does not use them to profile visitors. If the site ever starts measuring advertising, this notice will say so first, in plain terms, before any such measurement begins.
Deleted twenty-four months after the last letter
Request messages and the replies to them are kept for 24 months after the last exchange about a trip and then deleted. Ask at privacy-notes@foxrivertrail.org and they are deleted sooner, unless a supplier dispute about a trip you took is still open.
Children's details come from a parent
The site is meant for adults planning a trip. It does not knowingly collect details from children under 13; when a child paddles, a parent sends the request and gives only the age the outfitter needs.
If a reservation tool from another company is added later
Part of the site may later be provided by a third-party supplier, for example a search or reservation tool. If that happens, the supplier's own notice applies to what you enter in its tool, and this page will name the supplier before the tool goes live.
Write in to see, amend or erase what the desk holds
Write to privacy-notes@foxrivertrail.org to learn what the office holds about you, to have a detail corrected or to have it erased. The answer comes in writing, on the same timetable as any other request.
Fox River Trail LLC, 1011 E Colonial Dr, Suite 502, Orlando, Florida 32803, is responsible for the details sent through this site.
