Spring paddling trip prices for each run you can reserve

Spring paddling trip prices on this page start at $165 per person and reach $255 per person, depending on the run, the number of nights and what the outfitter posts for the water. Each figure assumes two travelers sharing one room and one car, each in a single kayak.

A figure here is a starting point built from published numbers. The final amount appears only in the written quote, once the inn and the outfitter have answered for your exact nights.

Room nights halved, then the water added

Start with the nights. Multiply them by $113 a room night, the federal lodging ceiling for each of the six counties in fiscal year 2027, then halve it because two people share the room. Add each paddler's water charge, whether the outfitter posts it per boat or per person. Take every per-vehicle charge, halve it for the shared car, add that, and round the total up to the next $5.

On the Rainbow River, two nights come to $226 for the room, or $113 each. The single kayak at the headsprings is $56 per boat, and park entry of $5 per vehicle adds $2.50 each. That makes $171.50, which rounds up to $175 per person. The $113 ceiling only calibrates a plain room; the real inn in your quote replaces it.

Six runs, one figure for every dated departure

Each dated departure carries the same figure as its run, since the inn ceiling stays flat across these months. Weeki Wachee comes in at $165 per person over two nights, Rainbow and Silver at $175 per person, Wekiva and Rock Springs Run at $225 per person, Ichetucknee at $230 per person for three nights, and Chassahowitzka at $255 per person, also for three nights.

Lodging, water and launch charges in; inn taxes out

The figure counts lodging, the water, and the charges the park or launch posts for entry and parking. The inn adds room taxes and the county tourist tax on its own bill, so those sit outside. Someone traveling alone in a room pays the whole room rather than half, which raises the lodging share.

Counted inside each figure

  • Inn nights at the county ceiling, split between two
  • The outfitter's water charge per boat or per person
  • Park entry or admission at the posted rate
  • Parking or landing charges at the launch
  • Rounding up to the next five dollars per person

Added on top by the inn or by you

  • Room taxes and the county tourist tax, which the inn adds
  • The other half of the room when one traveler sleeps alone

Paying the inn, outfitter and park directly

Nothing is held until you say yes to the written quote in writing. Only then does the office ask the inn and the outfitter to hold your nights and your launch. After that you pay the inn, the outfitter and the park directly, on the terms each sets, and the written quote lists the cancellation and refund terms of all three.

This website takes no payment at any point, and sending a request costs nothing and reserves nothing. The office earns a commission paid by the inn or the outfitter, so the amount you hand over goes to them and not through the office.
